Terms of Use
Basic terms for using the Sussex property work and trades recruitment forms.
Property work requests
You must provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and relates to genuine property work in Sussex.
No guarantee of availability
Submitting a request does not guarantee that work will be accepted, that a particular tradesperson or business is available, that a quotation will be provided or that work will start within a particular timeframe.
Trades recruitment age
The current work-seeker recruitment form is for people aged 18 or over. Work-seekers are asked for a date of birth so that this eligibility requirement can be checked; the date of birth is kept private and is not published.
Trades recruitment
The recruitment section is for genuine building, property maintenance, home improvement and related practical trade work in Sussex. General non-trade vacancies may be rejected. Work-seeker experience, qualifications, tools, transport and right-to-work information are self-declared unless clearly stated otherwise. Employers remain responsible for carrying out the checks appropriate to the role before work starts.
Information you submit
Only provide information you are entitled to provide and that is relevant to the enquiry. Do not submit identity documents, financial information or unnecessary sensitive information through free-text fields.
Specialist work
Some work requires particular registrations, licences, permissions or competence. Customers and contractors remain responsible for checking the requirements that apply to the specific job before work begins.
Emergency situations
This website is not an emergency service. If there is an immediate risk to life, fire, gas safety, structural safety or another serious hazard, contact the relevant emergency service or utility.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these website terms is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.
