Privacy Notice
How information submitted through this website is handled.

Information we collect
When you send a property work request we may collect your name, email address, phone number, Sussex town or village, postcode, type of work, job description, timing, budget information and the type of customer or property contact you are.
If you use the trades recruitment section, we may also collect information about the trade work you are looking for or offering, your experience, availability, work area, tools or transport information, availability and recruitment contact details. Businesses posting opportunities may provide vacancy information such as trade, location, pay, hours, requirements and health and safety information.
If you register for trade work we also collect your date of birth. This is used privately to confirm that you are 18 or over and is never published or shown to businesses.
Why we use it
We use submitted information to receive and review requests, contact you about them, identify the relevant Sussex area or trade type, prevent misuse and keep appropriate business records.
Who receives the information
Information may be shared with trade professionals, businesses or service providers only where this is reasonably necessary to deliver or arrange the property service you have requested, or to handle a genuine recruitment enquiry. Full postcodes and private contact details are never published on the public website, and a work-seeker date of birth is never published or shared with businesses simply as part of a work profile; it is used privately to confirm the 18 or over requirement.
Website infrastructure
This website is hosted on the Lovable platform. Form submissions are sent to the website server, validated there and written to a private PostgreSQL database provided by Supabase. There is no public read endpoint: submitted information cannot be listed, read or edited by website visitors. Hosting and database providers process technical request data as part of running and securing the service.
Data minimisation
This version does not accept file uploads, so please do not attempt to send identity documents, financial documents or photographs. Do not put unnecessary sensitive personal information into free-text fields.
Retention
Personal information should be kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed to handle the enquiry, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. Old submissions should be deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights
UK data protection law may give you rights over your personal information, including access, correction and in some circumstances deletion or restriction. Use the contact route on this website to make a request.
